Director of Food & Beverage

About the role

The Director of Food & Beverage will lead all F&B operations at Mövenpick Hotel & Residences Riyadh, ensuring the delivery of premium service standards across restaurants, lounges, room service and event spaces. This senior position combines operational oversight with strategic growth initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of all F&B outlets, enforcing Accor and Mövenpick brand standards and maintaining hygiene, food safety and ISO/HACCP compliance.
• Develop and manage the annual F&B business plan, budget, CAPEX requests and monitor sales, cost of sales, labour and operating expenses to maximise gross operating profit.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Finance and Marketing teams to create innovative menus, promotional campaigns and pricing strategies that drive average check and cover counts.
• Mentor, train and develop the F&B management team and staff, champion Saudization initiatives and oversee recruitment, performance reviews and succession planning.
• Analyse market trends, competitor offerings and local dining habits to introduce modern concepts and lead banquet and catering strategies for corporate and luxury events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–8 years progressive F&B management experience in 5‑star international hotel chains, with at least 2–3 years in a Director or senior Assistant Director role.
• Previous experience in the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia, is highly advantageous.
• Fluent in English; French, German or Arabic is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, drive commercial performance and lead high‑performing teams.
