Director of Marketing – Sales & Marketing

About the role

The Director of Marketing – Sales & Marketing will lead the full‑stack marketing and communications strategy for Jumeirah Jabal Omar, a luxury hotel in the heart of the Holy City. Reporting to senior hotel leadership, you will shape brand positioning, drive demand across key pilgrimage periods and ensure all guest‑facing content aligns with local cultural expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute end‑to‑end marketing and communications plans that support occupancy, ADR, length of stay and channel mix.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, KPI setting and performance reporting with a strong ROI focus.
• Collaborate with the General Manager, Director of Sales, Revenue and Operations to translate commercial targets into measurable marketing initiatives.
• Ensure all public communications respect Makkah context, local regulations and brand guidelines.
• Oversee digital assets, website and app content accuracy, UX standards and OTA listings.
• Direct performance‑marketing activities across paid search, metasearch, paid social and other paid channels.
• Design and execute CRM and loyalty programmes to drive acquisition, retention and revenue contribution.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in luxury hospitality marketing.
• Deep understanding of the Saudi market and pilgrimage cycles (Ramadan, Hajj, Eid, Umrah).
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to set budgets, track KPIs and demonstrate ROI.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional hotel leadership.
