Director of Revenue Strategy (ECM)

About the role

The Director of Revenue Strategy (ECM) leads the revenue strategy for a cluster of hotel properties, ensuring optimal revenue and profit from rooms and function spaces. Reporting to senior market leadership, this role shapes forecasting, budgeting, pricing, and inventory management processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare short‑ and long‑term revenue, profit, demand, and occupancy forecasts (3‑month, 6‑month, annual).
• Develop and implement pricing, positioning, and inventory strategies across participating hotels.
• Analyze actual sales versus projections, competitive sets, seasonality, mix, and displacement to inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with the sales strategy team to align hotel sales plans with revenue objectives.
• Identify new revenue opportunities and communicate strategies to the sales organization.
• Evaluate property performance in electronic sales channels and support pricing analyses for all market products.
• Lead revenue management projects and provide functional expertise to general managers and market sales leaders.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Hotel Management or related field with 6 years of relevant experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience.
• Proven experience in revenue management, sales, or marketing within the hospitality sector.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience preparing forecasts and budgets.
