Director of Sales – Hospitality

About the role

Leads and manages all day‑to‑day sales activities for the property, focusing on building long‑term, value‑based customer relationships that drive property sales objectives. The role also achieves personal booking goals and sets recommendations for the booking targets of direct reports.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of sales strategies, collaborating with the sales leader and management team to create and implement a segment‑specific sales plan.
• Maximize revenue by providing aggressive leadership, setting personal booking goals and recommending targets for the sales team.
• Monitor daily activities of direct reports, approve space releases for catering, and participate in sales calls to acquire or close new business.
• Analyze market and financial data using sales systems, assist revenue management with accurate projections, and review guest satisfaction results for improvement.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by leading guest hospitality, gathering feedback, and empowering employees to deliver high‑quality service.
• Develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including off‑property sales channels and key customers.
• Conduct human‑resource activities such as interviewing, hiring, and training management and hourly employees.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field plus at least 3 years of sales and marketing experience.
• OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree in the same fields with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
