Director of Sales & Marketing – Hotel (Madinah)

About the role

The Director of Sales & Marketing will lead the sales department of a large hotel property in Madinah, overseeing more than 300 peak rooms and significant catering revenue. This senior leader will drive both reactive and proactive sales initiatives, ensuring the property meets its booking and revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for key market demand generators.
• Manage the property’s sales efforts across all channels, including area sales, group sales, and electronic lead platforms.
• Oversee the marketing budget, creating property‑specific campaigns, promotions, and collateral.
• Collaborate with regional marketing communications to align national promotions with local objectives.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership to sales associates, fostering long‑term, value‑based customer relationships.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and economic indicators to adjust sales strategies.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or a related field with at least 4 years of sales and marketing experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise a team and drive lodging sales.
• Progressive experience in the hotel industry with a record of exceptional performance.
