Director of Systems / MIS

About the role

The Director of Systems / MIS will lead the Management Information Services (MIS) function for a hotel cluster, ensuring technology aligns with business objectives. This senior role supports hotel management in planning, decision‑making, implementation, and maintenance of MIS solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain MIS technology plans and oversee new application/system installations.
• Coordinate project roll‑outs, provide end‑user support, and produce status reports.
• Evaluate technology life‑cycles, certify software, and manage disaster recovery and business continuity for properties.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, information security standards, and vendor contracts.
• Conduct inventories of applications and hardware, and manage secure server environments including backups.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in IT, Computer Science or related field with 4 years experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience.
• Certified trainer preferred.
• Proven ability to lead projects and support hotel staff in a hospitality environment.
