Director of Systems / MIS

About the role

The Director of Systems / MIS will lead the Management Information Services (MIS) function for a hospitality cluster in Madinah. Reporting to hotel management, the role combines advanced IT expertise with hospitality business knowledge to drive technology planning, implementation and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MIS technology roadmaps and project plans.
• Coordinate the installation, configuration and rollout of new MIS applications across properties.
• Provide end‑user support to hotel staff and business centers, handling issue resolution and training.
• Prepare proposals, cost models and status reports for MIS initiatives.
• Evaluate technology life‑cycles, certify software, and manage disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, information security standards and vendor contracts.
• Conduct periodic inventories of hardware and applications and report findings to property management.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field with 4 years experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience.
• Certified trainer preferred.
• Proven experience managing IT projects in a hospitality environment.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
