About the role
The Electrical Draftsman (BIM) will support the engineering team by producing accurate and timely electrical drawings for building projects. Working under the guidance of the Senior Engineer, you will create, update and manage both design and as‑built documentation in line with company standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare engineering drawings as directed by the Senior Engineer.
- Produce and update as‑built drawings to reflect completed works.
- Ensure all drawings follow the company’s procedures, BIM standards and are filed with the latest revision.
- Perform CAD activities in accordance with the Project Management Plan.
- Review and support engineers and site teams with technical drafting requirements.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the building construction industry.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and coordinate effectively with MEP disciplines.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Revit MEP.
- Strong experience using AutoCAD.
- Competence in Navisworks for BIM coordination.
