Electrical Technician I – Gas Operations

About the role

The Electrical Technician I will support safe and reliable plant operations by performing assigned maintenance activities within the GAS Operation Management System. This entry‑level position is part of SABIC’s commitment to delivering high‑quality chemical products while upholding safety and sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute maintenance tasks in accordance with Standard Maintenance Procedures, checklists, and Safe Work Permits.
• Follow the GAS Operation Management System (OMS) to meet targets across EHSS, production, asset integrity and cost effectiveness.
• Report any findings, abnormalities or safety concerns to supervisors and record accurate man‑hours in SAP.
• Participate in maintenance activities during shutdowns, turnarounds and emergency situations.
• Complete development plans such as Job Qualification Plans (JQP) and Individual Development Plans (IDP).

Required profile

• Relevant technical training or certification for electrical maintenance.
• Ability to work safely following established procedures and permits.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to provide timely feedback.

Required skills

• Electrical maintenance knowledge.
• Proficiency in using SAP for work tracking.
