Electronics Technician – P-4 SAKITS Pod Support

About the role

The Electronics Technician provides operation and maintenance support for P-4 SAKITS pods used in the Royal Saudi Air Force F15C/D ACMI program. Reporting to the Site Manager, the role works closely with field service technicians and requires independent execution of technical tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain logs for pod serial numbers, types, check‑in/out times, and status.
• Record and analyze monthly Time Meter readings to determine pod operational hours.
• Operate and maintain the P-4 SAKITS Test Set according to technical documentation.
• Perform O‑Level and I‑Level maintenance tests and replace Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs).
• Load programs, conduct subsystem tests, and manage pre‑mission data on the Data Transfer Device (DTD).
• Operate graphics terminals during live exercises and support display/control operations.
• Provide technical assistance to RSAF aircrews for replay and debriefing, and maintain mission tape records.
• Comply with Cubic’s policies on quality, security, health, safety, and the code of conduct.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate log and record keeping.
• Effective communication with RSAF personnel and internal teams.

Required skills

• Operation of P-4 SAKITS Test Set.
• Maintenance and replacement of Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs).
• Computer operations: program loading, subsystem testing, data transfer device usage.
• Graphics terminal operation during live exercises.
• Log and record management for pods and mission data.
