English Special Educator – Special Education Teacher

About the role

We are looking for an English Special Educator to develop and deliver individualized English programs for children with special needs. The role involves preparing IEPs, conducting assessments, and providing one‑on‑one intervention while maintaining strong communication with families.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare English IEPs and school assessments, including pre‑ and post‑tests.
• Conduct English intervention sessions and use CBM assessments to track progress.
• Complete case‑study forms detailing strengths, weaknesses, and recommended programs.
• Provide feedback to parents during testing meetings and daily communication via the communication book.
• Maintain organized student folders with up‑to‑date data sheets and evaluations.
• Analyze data from feedback, trainer flow sheets, and progress tests to achieve at least two years of gain per child.
• Invite parents to observe sessions and ensure compliance with CARF standards.
• Utilize technology tools such as Microsoft Teams, Planner, OneDrive, Zoom, and email for coordination.

Required profile

• Experience delivering English instruction to children with special needs.
• Ability to conduct assessments and interpret results.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with parents and staff.
• Commitment to maintaining accurate records and meeting progress targets.
