Financial Analyst

About the role

The Finance team is looking for a proactive Financial Analyst to monitor performance, support budgeting and provide insightful financial analysis that drives business decisions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and track actual performance against budgeted targets, identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist finance management and business unit directors with cost and revenue initiatives through periodic and ad‑hoc financial analysis.
• Engage with department heads on operational plans and cost‑control measures.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process, enforce budgetary controls and track performance versus budget.
• Support the preparation of monthly reporting packs, including trial‑balance review.
• Evaluate and implement cost‑saving initiatives and process improvements.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial recording.
• Coach accounting trainees to enhance day‑to‑day accounting activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (or equivalent).
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA or CMA.
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience, including at least 2 years as a Financial Analyst, Business Analyst or Finance Business Partner.
• Experience in construction, industrial equipment or electronics sectors is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools, preferably Power BI.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
