Financial Planning & Reporting Manager

About the role

The Financial Planning & Reporting Manager ensures timely, accurate financial reporting and consolidates data across multiple entities. This position supports senior leadership with insights that drive strategic decisions and long‑term planning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads on assumptions, forecasts, and expense targets.
• Manage quarterly and monthly forecast updates, identify deviations, and explain variances.
• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements for the company, divisions, channels, and showrooms.
• Develop executive dashboards and KPI tracking tools to monitor real‑time performance.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights on key performance drivers.
• Create and maintain financial models for business initiatives, investment decisions, and cost‑saving projects.
• Support long‑term multi‑year forecasting aligned with corporate strategy.
• Provide data‑driven recommendations, ROI analysis, and support for product launches and expansion projects.
• Drive process improvements to streamline financial planning and reporting.
• Participate in implementing and optimizing financial planning tools and systems.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in high‑growth FMCG companies.
• Degree in Accounting (B.Com) and professional qualification such as CA, CMA, ACCA, or MBA in Finance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts.
