General Superintendent

About the role

The General Superintendent will lead a multidisciplinary team on the Ar Rjum gold mining project in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to senior project management, the role oversees Electrical and Instrumentation superintendents and craft professionals, ensuring safe, on‑schedule delivery of complex EPC works.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise more than 100 craft personnel, including discipline superintendents.
• Determine workforce requirements, prepare progress reports and forecast expenditures.
• Monitor tool, equipment and material usage; issue field material requisitions.
• Ensure construction activities and subcontractors comply with specifications, quality standards and HSE policies.
• Coordinate engineering solutions with field engineers, foremen and subcontractors, interpreting design and vendor documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or international equivalent) with 13‑15 years of relevant experience, or 17‑19 years of overall experience.
• Electrical professional with 20+ years experience, including 10+ years in the GCC, leading mega‑projects in mining, LNG, petrochemical and infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record in constructability, modularization strategies and large‑scale field execution.
