Guest Service Agent – Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are looking for a Guest Service Agent to join our Sheraton hotel in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves handling guest inquiries and requests through multiple communication channels, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Answer, record and process guest requests via telephone, email, chat and mobile devices.
• Operate the telephone switchboard, manage wake‑up calls and direct calls to appropriate departments.
• Log guest issues in the system, coordinate with housekeeping, bell staff and other departments, and follow up to confirm resolution.
• Provide information about room features, hotel amenities and local attractions.
• Process room‑service orders, assist with menu selections and record transactions using the point‑of‑sale system.
• Assist guests with internet access and in‑room entertainment.
• Maintain professional appearance, adhere to company policies and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent communication skills in clear, professional language.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Commitment to delivering courteous service to all guests, including those with disabilities.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Familiarity with telephone switchboards and point‑of‑sale systems.
