Healthcare Nutrition Specialist – Medical Representative

About the role

Danone Middle East is seeking a Healthcare Nutrition Specialist (Medical Representative) to promote its Specialized Nutrition portfolio in Medina, Saudi Arabia. You will build scientific relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and position Danone’s nutrition solutions as the preferred choice.

Key responsibilities

• Visit hospitals, clinics and private practices regularly to influence HCP attitudes and promote nutrition solutions.
• Deliver scientific audio‑visual presentations and conduct medical detailing sessions.
• Identify business opportunities, implement weekly call cycles and respond to competitive activities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and ensure compliance with WHO and local regulations.
• Handle customer queries, compile activity reports and manage daily database records.
• Participate in team meetings, seminars and nutrition education events.
• Gather intelligence on HCPs and competitor actions, reporting insights to management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in medical or nutrition sales, preferably within the healthcare sector.
• Strong scientific communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships with HCPs.
• Ability to work independently in the field and meet quantitative and qualitative KPIs.
• Understanding of ethical standards for infant formula and nutrition products.
