Income Auditor – Hotel Finance

About the role

Rotana Hotels & Resorts is looking for a motivated Income Auditor to join its finance team. You will ensure that all financial reports are accurate, authorized, and compliant with company policies, supporting the delivery of exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify Night Auditor logbooks, daily revenue, and Food & Beverage reports against vouchers and trial balances.
• Distribute daily reports after obtaining approval from the Director of Finance or Financial Controller.
• Analyse rate variance reports to confirm correct rates are applied.
• Audit city ledger and credit‑card transfers, forwarding details to Accounts Receivable.
• Validate daily cash summaries and update the General Cashier’s report.
• Investigate cash overages/shortages and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor Front Office foreign‑exchange rates as required.
• Conduct weekly float counts for all house fund holders and prepare monthly summaries.

Required profile

• Degree in hotel management or accounting.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a hotel finance environment.
• Strong analytical mindset, high integrity, and professional demeanor.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera property management system.
• Experience using Micros point‑of‑sale software.
• Knowledge of FBM (Food & Beverage Management) tools.
• Familiarity with SUN System accounting software.
