Interface Manager

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Interface Manager to join its team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal position you will coordinate complex technical interfaces across multiple projects, acting as the primary liaison between engineering teams, clients, and third‑party vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate technical assignments related to interface management across project portfolios.
• Develop and maintain liaison with engineering teams, business units, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Oversee consultants, contractors, and third‑party vendors to ensure their work aligns with interface objectives and project requirements.
• Apply systems engineering principles throughout the project lifecycle, from conception to delivery.
• Identify, define, and manage interface requirements, establishing robust processes to track and monitor them.
• Create and maintain interface documentation such as matrices, registers, and responsibility assignments.
• Conduct gap analyses to verify solutions meet requirements and facilitate information exchange among all parties.
• Lead interface working groups, record minutes, and provide regular status updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in interface or systems engineering management within large‑scale infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple stakeholder groups and manage consultant/contractor teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivering seamless technical integration.
