Investment Director – Relocation to Dubai

About the role

We are a Dubai‑based investment firm seeking an Investment Director to lead our research and end‑to‑end investment process. This high‑autonomy position combines deep market knowledge with operational rigor, supporting senior leadership in enhancing research capabilities and portfolio performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investment due diligence, sourcing, screening, and evaluating opportunities across strategies and geographies.
• Coordinate the full due‑diligence lifecycle, maintain trackers, and produce comprehensive investment memoranda.
• Conduct macro research, monitor economic data, central bank policy, and geopolitical developments to inform portfolio positioning.
• Maintain regular contact with managers to assess strategy evolution, performance attribution, and organizational stability.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of professional experience in investment management, research, portfolio management, or institutional allocation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and complex financial instruments.
• Exceptional research, written communication, and multi‑stakeholder project coordination skills.

Required skills

• Python programming for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg terminal and industry‑standard investment tools.
• Additional programming skills such as R and SQL (preferred).
