IT Audit Supervisor

About the role

KPMG is seeking an experienced IT Audit Supervisor to join its Riyadh team. The role involves delivering audit engagements for financial services clients, focusing on the preparation, delivery, reporting and evaluation of audit results to meet stakeholder and regulator expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct IT risk assessments as part of external audits, understanding business objectives, internal controls, technology and infrastructure.
• Document and test application automated controls and General IT Controls across a wide range of software packages.
• Perform audit work over various technologies, assessing both design and operating effectiveness of controls.
• Identify key risks, evaluate their impact and likelihood, and prioritize audit testing.
• Interact with auditees to obtain necessary information and schedule audit procedures.
• Evaluate controls designed to prevent or detect fraud, including management override of controls.
• Prepare and present audit findings and stay updated on regulations and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• 4 to 6 years of experience in IT auditing, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
• Post‑graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or related fields.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, databases and operating systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with best‑practice reporting and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
