Junior Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Network Security Engineer to support the implementation, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of network security solutions. Working closely with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams, you will help ensure the stability and security of our network services.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and maintenance of firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, proxy, DNS and other security solutions under senior guidance.
• Monitor security systems, identify abnormal activities, and assist in incident investigation and resolution.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and security‑related issues and review traffic flows for potential threats.
• Implement approved security configurations and changes following established procedures.
• Coordinate with Network, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, SOC, Cloud, and Application teams as needed.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and troubleshooting records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in networking, cybersecurity, or IT infrastructure (fresh graduates with relevant internships or projects welcome).
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching and network protocols.
• Good communication, teamwork skills and willingness to learn.

• Network access control, ACLs and incident management.
