Kitchen & Laundry Technician – Engineering

About the role

Jumeirah The Red Sea is seeking a skilled Kitchen & Laundry Technician to join its Engineering team. You will be responsible for keeping all kitchen and laundry equipment running safely and efficiently, supporting the resort’s high‑standard guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair commercial kitchen appliances such as ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, dishwashers, refrigerators and exhaust systems.
• Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance to minimise breakdowns.
• Maintain and repair laundry machines, including washers, dryers, ironing systems and steam generators.
• Monitor equipment performance and conduct regular service to ensure optimal functionality.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and coordinate with laundry operations to limit service disruption.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or certification in electrical, mechanical or appliance maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen and laundry systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and emergency situations.
• Minimum 2 years experience maintaining kitchen and laundry equipment, preferably in a hospitality or resort environment.
