Lead Civil Site Engineer

About the role

The Lead Civil Site Engineer will oversee all civil construction activities for high‑voltage substations and related power projects during the OTR phase and, when required, the ITO phase. This role ensures that civil works, foundations, utilities, permits and security requirements are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise site civil works, including construction, installation, inspection and testing of buildings, equipment foundations and utilities.
• Control subcontractor progress, plan site resources and coordinate with clients, consultants, project management, MEP teams, EHS and quality departments.
• Maintain QA/QC and EHS compliance, conduct civil‑works inspections and validate QS/take‑off and invoices.
• Prepare accurate site reports (daily, bi‑weekly, monthly, look‑ahead) and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Participate in technical and progress meetings with internal teams and customers.
• Provide expert consultation on complex civil projects and support business growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience managing site civil works for 380 kV substations or similar power projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil‑works codes, standards, quality processes, QS/take‑off and resource planning.
• Valid driver’s license and passport.
• Fluent English and legal right to work in Saudi Arabia without sponsorship.
