Legal Counsel – FinTech & AI (Saudi National)

About the role

We are seeking a Saudi‑qualified lawyer to join a fast‑growing FinTech/AI company in Riyadh. The Legal Counsel will ensure compliance, manage legal documentation and support day‑to‑day legal operations across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support for FinTech and AI‑related activities.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
• Handle Power of Attorney documentation, especially for banking matters.
• Support regulatory compliance and liaise with Saudi authorities.
• Oversee employment‑related legal matters, including Qiwa contracts.
• Manage entry and exit visa processes for expatriate staff.
• Ensure adherence to Saudi labour law and corporate‑governance standards.
• Maintain accurate legal documentation and administrative processes.

Required profile

• Saudi national and Saudi‑qualified lawyer.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of Saudi legal and regulatory landscape.
• Experience with employment law (Qiwa) and regulatory compliance.
• Background in corporate/commercial contracts.
• Familiarity with government procedures such as visas and PoA.
• Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
