Legal Counsel – Senior Executive Legal Advisor

About the role

The Legal Counsel is a senior executive responsible for overseeing all legal matters that affect the company's operations. Reporting directly to the CEO and the Board, this role ensures compliance with Saudi Arabian and international laws while supporting strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal advisor to the CEO, executive team, and Board on corporate, regulatory, and governance issues.
• Support the incorporation and registration of the company, handling all required filings with Saudi authorities.
• Develop and maintain corporate governance frameworks, Board procedures, and Delegation of Authority structures.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts, including venue operations, service‑level agreements, licensing, and supplier agreements.
• Create and maintain contract templates, trackers, and a centralized repository.
• Lead legal aspects of partnerships, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements, and shared services agreements.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi labor, commercial, data protection, and sector‑specific regulations; monitor legislative changes.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks across the business and oversee dispute resolution and litigation.
• Advise on employment contracts, HR policies, Saudization requirements, and disciplinary matters.

Required profile

• Senior‑level executive with extensive experience in corporate legal advisory.
• Proven ability to provide counsel to CEOs, executive leadership teams, and Boards.
• Experience in the sports, venues, or entertainment sector is highly valued.
• Deep knowledge of Saudi corporate law, regulatory frameworks, and international legal standards.
• Strong track record in contract management, governance, compliance, and risk mitigation.
