Logistics, Expediting and Transportation Specialist

About the role

The Logistics, Expediting and Transportation Specialist supports the efficient flow of materials, finished goods and supplier deliveries across factories, warehouses and operational sites. The role ensures shipments are ready, movements are coordinated and delivery performance is monitored.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound, outbound and internal transportation of materials.
• Follow up with suppliers and carriers on shipment readiness, schedules and dispatch status.
• Monitor shipments, flag delays or shortages and escalate risks affecting operations.
• Maintain logistics records, delivery schedules, shipment logs and transport documentation.
• Work closely with procurement, planning, warehouse, production and service teams to align delivery priorities.
• Communicate with external transporters and suppliers to resolve shipment issues.
• Prepare logistics reports and update tracking systems to ensure visibility of performance and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and HSE requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in logistics, expediting, transportation coordination or supply‑chain support.
• Experience in manufacturing, HVAC or multi‑site industrial environments is an advantage.
• Good command of English; Arabic is a plus.
• Relevant logistics or supply‑chain certifications are a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP or logistics management systems.
