Market Access Specialist

About the role

The Market Access Specialist will ensure successful market access, reimbursement and product enlisting for Bausch + Lomb’s portfolio within Saudi Arabia’s healthcare ecosystem. The role works closely with the Ministry of Health, private insurers and other key stakeholders to drive optimal pricing, reimbursement and market penetration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute market access and pricing strategies for public and private sectors in KSA.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations for pricing, reimbursement and access submissions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to build compelling value stories for each product.
• Engage with insurance companies, hospitals and healthcare providers to secure product inclusion in formularies and insurance plans.
• Lead negotiations with major insurers to obtain favorable reimbursement rates.
• Monitor policy changes and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Coordinate with regulatory affairs for timely product registration and listing in key formularies.
• Support dossier preparation and approval for public healthcare systems.
• Gather real‑world evidence to strengthen access negotiations.
• Develop strategies for both public (MOH, KKESH, MODA, NG) and private healthcare providers.
• Assist in generating economic models, cost‑effectiveness studies and budget impact analyses.
