Medical Science Liaison – Immunology (Respiratory & GI)

About the role

As a Medical Science Liaison – Immunology (Respiratory & GI) you will act as the bridge between scientific research and clinical practice, fostering relationships with key opinion leaders and supporting the development of breakthrough treatments for immune‑related diseases.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain balanced scientific relationships with external experts in Immunology (Respiratory & GI).
• Map the healthcare ecosystem, identify patient journey milestones, and understand research needs.
• Provide accurate, balanced scientific information on the Immunology portfolio to healthcare professionals and decision‑makers.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs and clinical teams on Phase IV projects, investigator‑sponsored studies, publications, and site selection.
• Support commercial teams as a product expert during training and address medical objections.
• Gather real‑world medical insights and expert feedback to inform brand strategy.
• Represent Sanofi at medical conferences, staff information booths, and collect competitive intelligence.
• Document and report adverse events, ensuring risk‑management plans are followed.

Required profile

• University degree in life sciences (MD, PhD, or PharmD strongly preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in specialty care and/or Immunology/Gastroenterology.
• Excellent communication skills with scientific experts and internal stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated team player with strong business acumen and the ability to inspire others.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of clinical research methodology.
• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) expertise.
