MEP Engineer – Urban Masterplan Projects

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Engineer – MEP to join our team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for designing, coordinating and overseeing mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems across large‑scale urban master‑plan projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyse and develop MEP systems for multi‑phase urban master‑plan projects in line with specifications, building codes and industry standards.
• Prepare and review detailed MEP drawings, specifications and technical documentation using industry‑standard software.
• Coordinate MEP systems with architects, structural engineers, urban planners and other design professionals to ensure integrated performance.
• Conduct site inspections and quality‑assurance reviews to verify compliance with approved plans and urban development master plans.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and propose innovative solutions to optimise system performance, efficiency and sustainability.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers and municipal authorities to ensure timely procurement, proper installation and coordination of MEP components.

Required profile

• Ability to work across multiple project phases and building types within complex urban developments.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams, contractors, clients and municipal stakeholders.
