Monitoring Tools Engineer – IT Monitoring Center

About the role

The IT Monitoring Center is looking for a Monitoring Tools Engineer to operate and manage a suite of enterprise monitoring solutions. You will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining tools that ensure the health and performance of the organization’s IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Assess monitoring requirements and select appropriate tools across applications, servers, networks, and databases.
• Deploy monitoring agents and configure thresholds, alerts, dashboards, and custom notifications.
• Monitor the stability and performance of the tools, optimizing configurations and resource usage.
• Set up alerting rules to detect incidents, performance degradation, or security anomalies.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified by monitoring systems.
• Integrate monitoring solutions with ITSM platforms to improve incident, problem, and change management.
• Continuously evaluate tool performance, recommend enhancements, and share best practices within the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Network Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience configuring and managing enterprise monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of servers, networks, applications, databases and ITSM integration.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
