Operator – Blown Film Extrusion

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Operator to work on our blown film extrusion lines. You will support the Quality Inspector, maintain line cleanliness, and ensure product specifications are met throughout each shift.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Quality Inspector and verify finished‑goods specifications.
• Clean the production line during shifts and at month‑end.
• Complete and submit daily production reports to the Team Leader.
• Set up machines, perform size changes, and handle raw‑material receipts and returns.
• Communicate any machine issues to the Lead Operator and Line Setter.
• Maintain organized pallets, waste bins, trolleys, and raw‑material storage.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures and take part in HSE toolbox talks.
• Participate in occupational health & safety system activities.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in blown film extrusion, preferably with PE films (LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE).
• Experience on mono‑layer or multi‑layer extrusion lines, using equipment such as Kiefel, W&H, Alpine or Bandera.
• Technical diploma or equivalent industrial background.
• Strong awareness of safety, quality standards, SOPs and production documentation.

Required skills

• Blown film extrusion operation.
• Knowledge of LDPE, LLDPE and HDPE processing.
• Operation of Kiefel, W&H, Alpine, Bandera extrusion machines.
• Monitoring extrusion parameters: temperature, pressure, output, bubble stability, thickness variation, film width, winding.
• Raw‑material handling and blending (PE resin grades, masterbatch, additives).
