Part‑Time Full Stack Engineer (Remote, Equity + Salary)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time founding engineer to take full technical ownership of an existing production web application and mobile app. The role is remote, 10‑20 hours per week, and combines hands‑on development with AI‑assisted code maintenance, performance tuning, and security hardening.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and extend both frontend and backend features without breaking existing functionality.
• Maintain and improve an AI‑generated codebase, refactoring for clarity and reliability.
• Test core user flows (registration, matching, messaging, payments) across browsers and devices, including Arabic RTL and English interfaces.
• Monitor performance, optimise APIs and database queries, and apply web‑security best practices.
• Support releases, handle deployments, and ensure smooth roll‑outs.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of professional full‑stack engineering experience.
• Proven track record of owning production systems and solving complex bugs.
• Ability to work independently, make pragmatic technical decisions, and communicate risks clearly.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic.

Required skills

• React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS (including Arabic RTL support).
• Python for backend services.
• Experience with AI/LLM APIs such as Google Gemini.
• REST API design, Git version control, and deployment management.
• Authentication/authorization best practices and web‑security fundamentals.
