Physical Education and Performing Arts Teacher

About the role

One World International School is seeking a dynamic Physical Education and Performing Arts Teacher to lead sports and dance programmes for students in Riyadh. The role combines curriculum delivery, team management and co‑curricular activities to foster holistic development.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver PE and performing arts lessons aligned with the OWIS, IB and American curricula.
• Organise a wide variety of sports, dance and co‑curricular activities for student participation.
• Develop and manage school sports teams and dance groups, including training, fixtures and competitions.
• Plan, coordinate and promote events, workshops, camps and extracurricular clubs related to sport and performing arts.
• Maintain safe equipment and classroom environments, conducting regular checks and attendance records.
• Prepare budgets, procure resources and oversee the development of sports infrastructure.
• Establish links with community clubs and external agencies to enhance programme offerings.
• Assess, record and report on student progress, providing feedback to parents as needed.
• Participate in school‑wide competitions, annual day performances and other showcase events.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in sports‑related studies.
• Familiarity with IB and/or American curriculum frameworks.
• Experience in an international school environment is preferred.
