About the role
Worley is seeking a Principal Project Planner to lead the planning and scheduling of restoration and site‑execution activities across complex EPC, brownfield and restoration projects. The role will coordinate multiple contractors, monitor progress, and provide performance analysis to support project decision‑making.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate detailed work packs for restoration and site‑execution activities.
- Manage planning interfaces between the client, project team and multiple EPC contractors.
- Monitor overall progress and performance of restoration activities.
- Conduct daily earned value analysis and evaluate project performance.
- Prepare daily progress and performance reports for project leadership and the client.
- Maintain the Level 1 Client Master Schedule and develop/update Level 3 engineering schedules.
- Track engineering deliverables through the Master Document Register and Engineering Deliverables Status Register.
- Monitor procurement plans, vendor activities and material delivery dates, and prepare procurement progress reports.
- Review and verify quantities in contractor progress submissions and support payment application reviews.
- Identify schedule risks, constraints, delays and critical‑path impacts, recommending corrective actions.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams to validate progress.
- Ensure planning and reporting comply with project procedures, client requirements and Worley standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management or a related discipline.
- Significant project planning and scheduling experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, industrial or infrastructure sectors.
- Senior or principal planning experience on complex EPC, brownfield, restoration or site‑execution projects.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple EPC contractors and project stakeholders.
- Advanced Primavera P6 skills and experience developing Level 1 and Level 3 schedules.
- Strong knowledge of earned value management, progress measurement, forecasting and schedule‑performance analysis.
