Production Engineer

About the role

The Production Engineer will support manufacturing operations by ensuring efficient, safe, and high‑quality production processes. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to apply lean principles, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Plan and organise work activities to meet short‑ and long‑term production goals.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing tools such as Just‑In‑Time, Six Sigma, Ishikawa, 5S, SMED, and PDCA.
• Operate production machines according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and related instructions.
• Apply local, regional, and international occupational health and safety regulations.
• Inspect and test tools, spare parts, raw materials, work‑in‑progress, and finished products using appropriate lab equipment.
• Monitor the entire manufacturing process to ensure quality standards and identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Ability to interpret legal and safety requirements.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality and compliance.
• Effective communicator capable of delivering clear technical documentation.

Required skills

• Lean Manufacturing methodologies (JIT, Six Sigma, 5S, SMED, PDCA).
• Use of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Inspection and testing of materials and components.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
