Project Control Manager

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead a team of professionals overseeing all phases of mission‑critical construction projects. The role combines schedule management, earned value analysis, and client interaction to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and review contractor schedules for compliance with project requirements.
• Engage with contractors to develop delivery, recovery, and mitigation plans.
• Create detailed activity‑level schedules with resource and cost loading.
• Maintain deliverable lists in coordination with Project/Engineering Managers.
• Implement a deliverable‑based progress measurement model and provide periodic updates.
• Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to evaluate schedule and cost performance.
• Maintain weekly Earned Value Analysis dashboards at project and sector levels.
• Support construction monitoring, progress reporting, and proposal schedule development.
• Represent Parsons in client meetings and presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of planning/scheduling experience, preferably on entertainment or leisure projects.
• Proven experience applying Earned Value Management for performance analysis and reporting.
• Fluent in written and spoken English with strong communication skills.

• Earned Value Management techniques.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for complex spreadsheet creation and maintenance.
