Project Director – Luxury Hotel Project

About the role

The organization is looking for an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a large‑scale luxury hotel development. You will be accountable for planning, execution and successful hand‑over of the project, ensuring it meets schedule, budget and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project planning, coordination, execution and delivery.
• Manage budgets, schedules, procurement and resource allocation to achieve cost efficiency and timely completion.
• Oversee design, engineering, construction, quality assurance, health & safety and risk management activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements and company standards.
• Manage consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships while driving performance and value‑engineering initiatives.
• Utilise ERP systems (preferably SAP) for project controls, cost management and performance reporting.
• Provide leadership, mentorship and performance management to project teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of experience, including at least 10 years in a senior project leadership role.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale, multi‑million‑dollar building and hotel projects.
• Extensive experience in hotel and hospitality developments.
• Strong knowledge of project management, construction methodologies, budgeting, cost control, contract administration and risk management.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors and client stakeholders.
• GCC experience and PMP certification are preferred.
