Project Manager – Agriculture

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale agricultural initiatives in Riyadh. The role involves overseeing farming operations, greenhouse construction, irrigation systems, and related infrastructure from planning through execution while ensuring sustainability and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor agricultural projects to meet time and budget targets.
• Manage large‑scale farming activities, including crop production, greenhouse projects, and irrigation installations.
• Develop detailed schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate with farm managers, agronomists, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor progress, implement corrective actions, and report performance to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations, environmental standards, and health & safety requirements.
• Oversee procurement and commissioning of equipment, materials, and agricultural facilities.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Horticulture or a related field.
• 7–12 years of experience managing agricultural or farming projects.
• Proven track record in large‑scale farming, crop production, greenhouse operations, or irrigation projects.
• Strong knowledge of modern farming practices, soil management, and agricultural technologies.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working in the GCC, especially Saudi Arabia, is highly desirable.
