Senior Facility Management Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Facility Management Engineer to lead landscape and green infrastructure operations for our Riyadh portfolio. The role involves planning, coordinating and executing maintenance activities while ensuring safety, sustainability and cost‑effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily landscape, irrigation systems, pumping stations and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage tree care and arboriculture programs, including pruning, health monitoring and pest management.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all green‑infrastructure assets.
• Control facility budgets, analyse costs and identify water‑efficiency improvements.
• Lead, supervise and mentor a team of technicians and contractors, enforcing safety and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections, coordinate with vendors and ensure compliance with Saudi regulations and environmental standards.
• Utilise facility management software and CMMS to track work orders and equipment performance.
• Prepare detailed reports on landscape performance, tree health and recommendations for senior management.

Required profile

• 10‑15+ years of landscape O&M or grounds‑operations experience, with at least 8 years in a senior supervisory role.
• Proven ability to manage large budgets, conduct cost analysis and drive financial planning for facility operations.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring technicians and managing external contractors.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, with solid written and verbal communication abilities.
