QA/QC Manager – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

WSP is looking for an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and control activities across major infrastructure, building and construction projects in Jeddah. You will ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory and industry standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain project‑specific Quality Management Plans and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, client requirements, contractual obligations and local regulations.
• Lead QA/QC activities across multiple projects, monitoring inspection and test plans (ITPs).
• Conduct audits, inspections and surveillance, manage NCRs, corrective and preventive actions.
• Review and approve quality documentation, reports and records.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors and consultants to resolve quality issues.
• Analyse quality performance metrics and prepare regular reports for leadership and clients.
• Support teams during client audits, regulatory inspections and certification processes.
• Provide training and coaching on quality management best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 10‑15 years of QA/QC experience in construction, infrastructure or engineering consultancy.
• Proven experience managing QA/QC on large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and construction quality standards.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian regulations and industry standards preferred.
• Professional certifications such as ISO Lead Auditor or CQE are advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
