QC Mechanical Inspector

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QC Mechanical Inspector to lead mechanical inspection and quality control activities across project sites in Saudi Arabia. The role involves ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs and Saudi Aramco standards throughout fabrication, installation and final hand‑over phases.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of mechanical equipment, installations, fabrication and construction activities in line with approved drawings, specifications and ITPs.
• Perform material receiving, fit‑up, dimensional and final inspections, and review MTCs, inspection reports, test records and QA/QC documentation.
• Raise and follow up on NCRs, observations and corrective actions, ensuring timely closure.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, reports and quality documentation, and support preparation of Turnover/Mechanical Completion dossiers.
• Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors and client/third‑party inspectors, and participate in testing, pre‑commissioning and final inspection activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a QC Mechanical Inspector, preferably on Gulf projects and Saudi Aramco contracts.
• Valid Saudi Aramco approval or proven experience working on Saudi Aramco projects.
• Candidates currently residing in Saudi Arabia are preferred; Saudi nationals are not eligible.

Required skills

• Mechanical inspection procedures and ITP implementation.
• Preparation and review of inspection reports, test records and QA/QC documentation.
• Knowledge of applicable international codes, standards and Saudi Aramco requirements.
• Fabrication, fit‑up, installation and final inspection techniques.
• Handling of NCRs, observations and corrective actions.
