Quality Control Engineer – Mechanical

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Quality Control Engineer to support on‑site QC activities for mechanical installations. The role involves preparing and executing quality control plans, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards and contract requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in inspections of piping, HVAC systems and mechanical equipment according to specifications and standards.
• Support testing activities and review inspection and test results for quality compliance.
• Identify, document and report non‑conformances (NCRs) and follow up corrective and preventive actions.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications and quality requirements, providing technical support to inspectors.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports, test records and maintain quality documentation.
• Participate in hold‑point, witness and client/consultant inspections and address related comments.
• Coordinate with site teams to verify implementation of approved corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and support ISO 9001 and QMS audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 0‑2 years of experience in mechanical quality control or related field.

Required skills

• Mechanical inspection of piping, HVAC and equipment.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and ISO 9001 standards.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Documentation and reporting of inspection results.
