Quality Engineer – QHSE Focus

About the role

The Quality Engineer ensures that products, processes, designs, testing, manufacturing, maintenance and repair activities meet established quality, technical, QHSE and regulatory requirements. The role works closely with the QHSE Manager and operational teams to drive compliance, continuous improvement and a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Support the QHSE Manager in establishing and maintaining an ISO‑compliant quality framework.
• Develop, document and continuously improve quality control and assurance processes across design, manufacturing, testing, maintenance and repair.
• Conduct inspections, workplace audits and internal audits to verify compliance with specifications, drawings and QHSE standards.
• Manage non‑conformances, corrective actions and CAPA, including root‑cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures.
• Maintain comprehensive records, prepare inspection reports, NCRs, audit reports and KPI dashboards.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering or a related technical field (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control within engineering, manufacturing, aerospace or defence environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and AS 9100 standards.
• Proven experience with risk assessment, internal audits, incident investigations and non‑conformance management.

• Use of CMM machines, 3D scanners and CNC equipment for reverse engineering.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
