Quantity Surveyor

About the role

OSUS is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support its mixed‑use development projects across Saudi Arabia. The role involves measuring, valuing and costing construction works to ensure accurate budgeting and timely payments.

Key responsibilities

• Measure and value works on site and from drawings for valuations and variations.
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities for tendering and construction administration.
• Analyse tender estimates, evaluate bids and assist with pricing of system‑based BOQs.
• Estimate quantities and costs of materials and labour, and provide price comparisons.
• Negotiate and analyse costs for tenders and contracts, source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare interim and final development appraisals and budgets.
• Ensure timely contractor payments, verify claims and resolve contractual/commercial issues.
• Participate in design, development team and groundworker meetings, offering cost advice.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation or related construction roles.
• Proven experience working with consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
