Registered Nurse – Diabetes Care

About the role

Diacare is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Registered Nurse to join its diabetes care team in Riyadh. The nurse will deliver professional patient care, conduct comprehensive health assessments, administer medications, monitor glucose levels, and educate patients on effective diabetes management.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed health assessments and patient evaluations.
• Administer medications, including insulin, and monitor glucose levels.
• Educate patients and families on diabetes self‑management and lifestyle adjustments.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Handle medical equipment and ensure accurate patient documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Maintain a safe, patient‑centered environment and support quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Valid nursing license/registration.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience, preferably in diabetes, endocrinology, or outpatient settings.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (highly preferred).
• Strong communication, organizational, and time‑management abilities.
• Commitment to patient safety and collaborative teamwork.
