Regulatory, Legal & External Affairs Senior Expert

About the role

The Senior Expert in Regulatory, Legal & External Affairs will provide high‑level legal and regulatory guidance across Specialized’s operations, contracts, corporate matters, and strategic transactions. You will safeguard the company’s legal and commercial interests while managing complex disputes and regulatory engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Drive implementation and continuous improvement of legal and regulatory practices, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and contracts.
• Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of complex contracts and agreements with clients, vendors, partners, regulators, and government entities.
• Provide senior legal advice on corporate, commercial, employment, and transactional matters, assessing exposure and recommending risk‑mitigation actions.
• Manage disputes, litigation, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings in coordination with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
• Conduct legal due diligence and advise on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, and strategic investments.
• Analyze regulatory developments in telecommunications and technology, assess business impact, and propose necessary actions.
• Lead regulatory engagements, consultations, official communications, and filings with authorities.
• Ensure alignment with stc Group Legal & Regulatory Affairs and internal compliance functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in legal, regulatory, or external affairs roles.
• Fluent English proficiency.
