Reliability Maintenance Engineer & Facilities Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a motivated, customer‑focused Reliability Maintenance Engineer who will ensure safety compliance, execute preventive maintenance on schedule, and drive equipment availability through continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritize health & safety best practices and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs for material handling and automation systems.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, scanners, motor starters, relays, limit switches, electronic sensors, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, sorters, and mechanical parts such as rolls, bearings, and belts.
• Act as a safety ambassador, promoting safe work practices across the site.
• Manage day‑to‑day engineering, soft services, housekeeping, and premises upkeep.
• Oversee EHS and statutory compliance, including waste and hazardous waste management and license renewals.
• Supervise facility operations, conveyor system maintenance, subcontractors, and ensure system checks via a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Provide technical guidance for material handling equipment (MHE) and battery‑backed (BB) maintenance.
• Support and mentor technicians, delivering hands‑on training and performance feedback.

Required profile

• Experience in electrical, mechanical, electronics, instrumentation, or controls engineering.
• Strong focus on safety and ability to act as a safety champion.
• Proven ability to build effective relationships at all organizational levels.
• Capacity to prioritize tasks and manage resources under high‑pressure situations.
