Remote Support Specialist

About the role

Abbott is looking for a Remote Support Specialist to serve as the primary contact for customers using its Core Diagnostic Division products. Based in Dammam, you will provide assay, application, operator, system and instrument support through phone and email, leveraging remote diagnostic tools.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line telephonic and email support for reagent, instrument and application issues.
• Dispatch field service engineers when remote troubleshooting cannot resolve the problem.
• Schedule and follow up on field service visits, ensuring timely resolution.
• Manage customer requests related to CRLB products and agreements.
• Track and report key performance indicators such as NPS, service capacity and phone resolution rates.
• Evaluate calls for potential medical events and forward relevant data to the Medical Event Group.
• Document all interactions and generate reports as required.

Required profile

• Experience delivering assay, application, and instrument support to diagnostic customers.
• Ability to coordinate field service dispatches and manage resource availability.
• Familiarity with medical event reporting processes.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and field personnel.
