Application Specialist

About the role

Sysmex LLC is seeking an Application Specialist to support customers across Saudi Arabia. The role involves delivering product demonstrations, on‑site training, and technical assistance for Sysmex’s diagnostic instruments, helping healthcare professionals achieve optimal laboratory performance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and interpret customer requirements and align them with Sysmex’s portfolio of instruments and reagents.
• Provide workflow support, product demonstrations, workshops, and on‑site training.
• Respond to technical queries and build strong, trust‑based relationships with customers.
• Assist in developing and maintaining reference customers and support distribution partners in other SMEA countries as needed.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and compare Sysmex offerings with competitor solutions.
• Plan and execute field‑based activities on a weekly and monthly basis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MSc preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience in a hematology laboratory or as an application specialist with high‑throughput instruments.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Saudi region.
• Strong knowledge of IVD and clinical patient testing markets.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Experience with hematology and related diagnostic instruments.
• Understanding of IVD product landscape and competitive environment.
