Reservation & Ticketing Officer

About the role

The Reservation & Ticketing Officer will provide efficient reservation and ticketing services to travel agents, corporate customers, and passengers on behalf of airline GSA partners. You will ensure all transactions are accurate, compliant with airline policies, and delivered with exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Handle flight reservations, ticket issuance, re‑issuance, exchanges, refunds and cancellations in line with airline policies.
• Process transactions using airline reservation systems, primarily Amadeus, and provide accurate fare quotations and itinerary planning.
• Assist travel agents, corporate clients and passengers with reservation and ticketing enquiries, managing booking queues and follow‑ups.
• Manage schedule changes, flight disruptions, involuntary rerouting and passenger re‑accommodation.
• Coordinate with Sales, Airport Operations, Customer Service and the Airlines Regional Office to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain accurate reservation records, prepare operational reports and support promotional campaigns and group bookings.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Aviation, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in airline or GSA reservation and ticketing.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Amadeus GDS (knowledge of Galileo or Sabre is a plus).
• Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of airline fares, procedures and reservation systems.
